Chin Strap / Bit Hobble

If you ride and train Horses in a 'loose ring snaffle' Bit, you are systematically diminishing the mouth of the Horse if you are not using a 'chin strap'. 

You are throwing away crucial control for when things go wrong!
and placing Pain on the side of the Face of the horse.
